We all work for someone.
Yes, even your CEO answers to a board / investors.
Investors answer to their LPs…
who answer to their constituents.
Everyone answers to someone.
No matter who we are accountable to, here are a few things we can do to be better employees:
– Anticipate problems and have a plan
– Do things without being asked
– Help lead the team you’re on
– Ask good questions
– Help teammates
– Do a little extra
These are the behaviors of people who get promoted.
Exercise them in addition to your day job and good things will happen over time.
