What is your “thing?”
There are plenty of personal branding experts out there.
To be clear, I am not one.
But I’ve noticed profile headlines recently that mention multiple jobs. Like product management, CX and customer success.
The thing is, in most companies these roles roll up to three different departments – Product, Marketing, Customer Success. So it’s hard to know how to help out with connections and opportunities for those seeking jobs.
Maybe some of my recruiter friends can weigh in here..
Is it better to use your headline to tell the world about the companies you have experience with? Like this: “Customer-facing for early stage SaaS companies.”
Or better yet, pick one and go with it “Customer Success for early stage SaaS companies.”
How can we better articulate the value we bring in our profile headlines?
